Since graduating from the University of San Francisco in 1975, Tim’s entire career has been in public accounting. He worked for several accounting firms, obtaining a variety of experience and skills. Over his public accounting career, he helped clients in numerous industries and professions including medical, legal, construction, and manufacturing.
Tim joined Bachecki, Crom & Company(BCC) in August 1990. Upon joining BCC, he was asked to prepare an analysis on the financial health of a local county. Since then, Tim has prepared and co-authored with Jerry Bachecki over 225 reports on the financial health of numerous districts, cities, counties and one state; The Fair Labor Standard Act; tax and cost analysis of contract proposals; and pension contribution analysis. Our analysis is not limited to local governments in California, but includes cities and counties in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii.
Tim has developed unique skills, knowledge, and understanding of local governmental accounting and reporting. Jerry and Tim have made Bachecki, Crom & Co., the premier firm for analyzing the financial health of local government for public employee unions on the west coast.
Tim is a native San Franciscan, growing up on the peninsula. He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting and History from the University of San Francisco and a Masters degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
Tim was also a star on the Big Screen and TV. Tim is a Civil War reenactor and was picked to be an extra in the film Dances with Wolves. If you have ever watched Dances with Wolves, in the beginning of the movie he was one of the four Confederate Soldiers lined up to shoot down Kevin Costner off his horse. He also played himself in a reenactment on an episode of Rescue 911 in which one of his Civil War friends was in need of help. In his spare time Tim loves to go fishing, make wine and spend time with his family.
