Jennifer is a California girl at heart, having grown up in the Sacramento area. She has an extensive background in music; she started taking piano lessons at the age of 8, and in high school Jennifer went on to become a percussionist, with an emphasis on marching and symphonic percussion. After high school she joined the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps where she completed three national tours and won a national championship. As a result of her tour experiences, Jennifer can boast that she has performed for thousands of people across the country, and has been to every state in the continental US!

After a long day at BCC, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Mike. Her hobbies include scouring the racks at Loehmann’s, cooking Korean food, watching TV on Demand (her favorite shows are True Blood, Bizarre Foods, Pawn Stars, and the now defunct Lost) reading, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves outdoor activities like camping and wakeboarding, and she recently traveled to Korea for the first time.
